Today is the first day of our tour with Overseas Adventure Travel. After breakfast in the hotel cafe, we met the others in our tour group of 16. There are five men and eleven women, all in the same age group and from all parts of the U.S. After introducing ourselves, our Tour Guide, Nadda, explained our itinerary for the day and our trip schedule. Everyone is looking for adventure
and to see the unusual.
The Grand Palace was established in 1782 and consists of the Royal residence, throne halls and government buildings. The reigning King is 88 years old and Queen is 84. He has served as King since he was 19. Here are just a few of our pictures of this extraordinary compound.








The outside of these buildings are made of gold painted and 1/2" glass mosaics. Unbelievable detail.
