SE Asia Vientiane

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Vicki and Pam in front of the Great Sacred Stupa.

Very large reclining Budda.

The Victory Gate Monument which was dedicated to those who fought and struggled to free themselves from France. The USA gave Laos money to build an airport but it was used for this monument, thereby being known as the Vertical Runway.

Pam, Vicki and Marc climbed the 197 steps to take this photo from the top of the Victory Monument. As you can see, Vientiane is flat compared to Luang Prabang in Northern Laos.

A Laotian couple getting married. Another lovely Laotian woman!
